FireDaemon is a system utility that allows you to install and run any native Win32 application or script (eg. BAT/CMD, Perl, Java, Python, TCL/TK) as a Windows service. FireDaemon features easy configuration (via GUI or XML), a low memory/CPU overhead, subprocess prioritisation, custom environments, CPU binding plus monitoring and logging to the event log and on-disk log files. Running an application as a service has many benefits. For example, the ability to run when no one is logged in, the ability to run a specific local or domain user and to run for specific periods during the day, week or month.
