1st QuickRes is used to change screen resolution, color depth and display frequency instantly from sytem tray. You can sort modes list two ways, by screen modes sorted by resolution or by colors. If you like, change modes for current session only. You can apply mode change to use in current session only and next time, Windows starts with its original settings. You can even preview mode change with options to confirm or abandon. Mode restore automatically returns to previous mode in 10 seconds if you can't operate confirmation dialog. Instant mode change allows changes in modes instantly without confirmation. 1st QuickRes can quicky change to stanard display resoltuions with a hotkey if you run into trouble.
