4th split is a program for splitting impossibly large files on blocks. You can split file into any number of blocks up to 1000 blocks. 4th split stored all information about source file in first block. It allow to restore full information about file after joining (unite) blocks on target computer. Following information stored in first block: number of blocks, size of file (for verification), extension, attributes, date/time of created, modified, opened.

Cannot handle files larger than 4GB because it uses outdated Windows API functions which return 32-bit integers.
