Responding to various question: I will put it under Adware if Fileforum has it... but as you can see you can only put program in Freeware, shareware and demo.
All people talk about bannerware/spyware... but you really know what spyware is??? are you all really concerned about your privacy? Have you even tried to use a personal firewall software? many of my users use it... i use it also... so you're really sure that no one could send nothing out of your PC.... Do you know that windowsME does it upgrade when you are connected without telling you???
With my software you can see them but many other software could only register themself and send data... go to http://www.zonelabs.com there you can find a really nice personal firewall.
Concerning privacy Aureate/Radiate are getting counters not personal information... trey are statistical data not name/surname/sexual preference/etc.
I'm willing to remember all of you that there are many software there that use banner and most of them are used by almost everyone in the world (getright only to do one example).
For all who are really concerned about privacy why they don't contact Radiate/Aureate directly instead of hearing at people saying .... "oh this is spyware .... oh this will cruch your pc/desk/home/building/city and make you go to live under a bridge" ? http://www.radiate.com/privacy.html

Second think... do you know about encryption? if i say what algorithm i use everyone could try to hack your password and have access to all data in the file. An encryption method is as sure as a) the algorithm is unknown and b) the key is unknown.
In a near future there will be a version with ads and a shareware version without ads. I'd first to write a documentation, correcting some more bugs and implementing some other functionality i've been asked for.
Hoping this would clarify my position ...

Doesn't this totally defeat the purpose of solving crossword puzzles? Decent program, bad idea
