Wow, another sinnerware special. Most people code these apps as a programming exercise, but not these guys. I wish they'd stop filling up betanews with their crap.
Think my comments are unjustified? Just take a look at the design of the apps...what userinterface-illiterate programmer designed them? Take a look at the icons. Jeez, have you seen Mac OS X?
I looked through their awards page and tried to find the awards from other sites, in a few places the awards were fictious. Not impressed.
And finally, and most importantly, this "app" - what a piece of sh*t. It took you more than one release to get this right? OMFG.

Whatever you do, don't stop development because of one comment...please.
I'd nearly kill for a decent free DL manager that has a minimal interface and little configurability if it's fast and small.
Seriously. I'm so sick of bloated software it hurts. All a download manager needs is 4 dl threads, to have it ask where you want to save it, pause/resume, and status. That's it.
It doesn't need to throttle bandwidth, there are 99 other programs that can do that.
It doesn't need to sort them, catalogue them, or anything else.
I don't need a huge window giving me 99 different stats I'll never want to know. Just one small window with a pause button on it, the name of the file, the speed and percentage.
Yours looks like a great start in that direction. Please continue it.

This one has come a long way, and looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty good option for a download manager. It's small, fast, and easy. More browser integration would be nice (I use Opera 7.5) but there is time yet for all of that to be implemented. 4 stars.

For those that feel that there is no point doing what has already been done really have no place on this forum. There is always a reason to try to better what already exists, especially with download managers. Most of the big ones around are bloated and / or filled with ad or spyware. Incidently, I did not add this file, it was added for me. I only wrote this last week and it really doesn't do much yet.

Just what the world needs....another download manager...Jeez programmers make something useful quit spending three days on some pile of junk that nobody needs and putting it on betanews. This would be like trying to make your own IM network or a new email app. ITS BEEN DONE, ITS SET IN STONE.
