$40 wow, that's out ragious. Winrar is a 5 star program, and it's less then this hunk of junk. Though I am more partial to winzip, winrar isn't bad either. They want $40+ for this thing, and yet it doesn't do a whole lot.

Where live this company; the time of "ARJ" is death now. They want more than 40 $ for this old thing ?? - Dream again ....
We use now winrar for it.

Still one of the most feature rich archiver, even in this gui's world. Only, seems that the author has lost any interest in developing. The JAR archiver was great too.

I remember being one of the original beta-testers when ARJ first came out. Back then, it was terrific. But then again, "back then" was the late 80's. One word: WINRAR.

Console application, shareware $45. It's a joke right? The author seems to hibernate since the last 10 years. Wake up, there is plenty of excellent GUI based archivers, freeware and sharewares such as PowerArchiver or WinRAR which offer MUCH MUCH more for a lower price.
