Publisher's Description
AVI/MPG Screensaver will let you view your own MPEG or AVI ideos as a screensaver. You can play your videos randomly or in sequence, and you can adjust the size of the videos playing or stretch your videos full-screen if you wish. If the mpg or avi videos contain sound, that will play also. Other options include previewing each video from the settings window, changing background colors, playing a midi or wav sound file, repeating the sound file, and password protection. Installation and uninstallation are included, and there are no additional run-time files needed.

Maybe you can't play .mov files 'cause the soft isn't intented for .mov playback ! If you read the program name and the description, you'll see "AVI/MPG Screensaver" and not "AVI/MPG/MOV Screensaver" !

This program has potential - it has a lot of useful features ... but ... playing .mov files isn't one of them. 'Old' .mov files play the sound but no image, recent .mov files don't load at all. Unfortunately, I don't have .avi/mpg files anymore to test out the other movie formats. One feature I would like to see (and this goes for all avi/mpg/mov screensavers, is for it to remember where it was playing from when it goes back into screen saver mode, rather than starting from the start again.
