AVIRA [Antivirus] WebGate acts as a web proxy, scanning all HTTP and FTP incoming traffic, and keeping you fully protected. It cooperates with the proxy server and completes its security function in an ideal way. The solution can run between the Internet and the existant proxy server or between the existant proxy server and the client or directly between the client and Internet, depending on the network architecture. Integration into an existing system does not require any significant change in configuration of the existent proxy server or browser used.
