Publisher's Description
Active@ Hard Disk Monitor is a freeware disk utility that monitors the status of your hard drives and scan for bad sectors. The system is based on the Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.). This software monitors hard disk parameters such as Temperature, Head Flying Height and Spin-Up Time and notifies a user when a critical condition occurs. Disk Monitor also displays hard disk information, current S.M.A.R.T. attributes and the overall status of the hard disk's health. Advanced disk scan allows you to detect bad sectors on a disk surface. The software can be launched automatically at Windows startup and monitor the system in the background. An icon in the System Tray can display the temperature for selected HDDs.

A so-so if all you have in your system is SATA-attached mechanical hard drives. You don't get temperatures for SSDs and forget about it reading anything from NVME drives.
Deleted it from my system shortly after installing it and jumping thru the evaluation hoops.
I am specifically rating this low due to its lack of function and poor UI while at the same time being shareware.

The description should be corrected as the program is not freeware but shareware.

Nicely done ! Particularly like HD temp in system tray, and the option to show temp readings in Fahrenheit.

Pros: not much. simple info tool
Cons: Table formatting is ugly - temp column is right-justified with no means of adjusting - data does not align to the column heading
Does not know how to deal with ssds.
