Publisher's Description

Advanced File Organizer is a powerful, yet easy-to-use cataloging tool for organizing your disks. All the features you'd expect are supported: Explorer-like interface, organizing files, folders and volumes by categories, browsing files and folders in two ways: according with categories and according with their locations, defining all useful categories, organizing categories themselves in groups into special tree, making remarks on every category, powerful scanning on any disks.

i have been using this program for about 4 years and i still dont find any bug or a feature i would want that is not there except that that the search function get more accurate and precise because you sometimes cant find lets say "university files" unless you do a search for "university" or "files". if this gets solved with the new version, it would be great.

This utility looks useful. Right now I'm using Zip Explorer 7.0 which is OK, but doesn't allow the catalog to be backed up, exported or imported. This type of feature is important to me since it takes a while to catalog all of my Zip, CDR's, CDRW's and floppies. Has anyone used the catalog backup feature?

Very handy program, possibly worth registering if your in need of a good file cataloguer. What it does in short is arrange and list the files on all your disks(floppy, hard drive, CD, DVD....etc) into a giant database for you to be able to search through and reference what your looking for without swapping dozens of CDs, or what not, into your PC. Loss of a star for only limiting disk volumes.

It looks very promising, but it's hard to really enjoy the program when you can't add more than 5 folders of your system! Too bad, as I would probably have used and then later registered this one...

After minor investigation, it DOES allow the same file to be in two different places at once! You have to add the same volume more than once though..
