This is a great tool. In germany we would call it "Eierlegegende Wollmilchsau".
Never before I have seen a PDF tool with such a broad range of features and a company with such a service. You just leave your number and they call you back in a couple of minutes.

PDFCreator doesnt support encrypting documents with smartcard/certificates, not many, if any, free generators do. If youre trying to sell your work and want to control its distribution, ghostscript backended applications arent the way to do it. This application secures my work as easy as inserting a smartcard into my laptop. If you want a cheap and easy way to send a CV to someone, sure PDFCreator or OpenOffice will do the job but if you want a secure method to distribute and control sensitive or important documents, this suite does the job a lot cheaper than Acrobat. Whenever Ive had a problem, its always been fixed within days. Ive even had a patch within just a couple of hours.

Exactly the opposite of Dirk happend to me. I left a question regarding Aloaha on their website. About one hour after I left that message somebody of their support called me back to clear my issue.
What impressed me even more was that a feature request I mentioned to the support guy was implemented in less than 24 hours. Its really impressive!
The Aloaha PDF Suite is the swiss army knife for PDF. I have never seen such a complete suite.
Not only that you can create PDF documents but also you can edit and digitally sign them.
To make integration into 3rd party products easy Aloaha supports a couple of hotfolders where you just drop your files and Aloaha converts, compresses, signs or autoprints them.
Kind Regards

Unfortunately also here the experience, which I made with most programs, no support.
I have prob. under WIN2000. I wrote to the support and receive a "automatically generated answer, we call you back".
But until today (3 weeks) I received no sign of life. Now I found a other software "PDF Creator", it - Costs are ok for me: 19.50 EURO, and it is in dutch, german and english.
This is now my BEST SOLUTION !!!

Fantasic! MAPI support and I can print from postscript-hostile applications like my Quark.
I cant wait for further versions.

I am using this tool to archive every printout my guys are doing as PDF to disk. So whenever somebody looses a file we quickly grab the PDF from the archive...

Finally a PDF Tool which is cheap and easy to use. The best of all - it supports 128 encryption and digital signatures without any extra cost. Really great stuff!
