Having been a die hard fan of Tiny Term for the past three years I am here to say that AlphaCom is genius in its design and implementation. AlphaCom is not bogged down with useless features that encumber most other telnet clients. However, the serious UNIX user will find all the features necessary to satisfy their needs. Further, the good folks who make AlphaCom are willing to work you regarding modifications or features you may need incorporated into the product. I was working on a project that required me to embed AlphaCom into a document and the engineers at OmniCom technologies made the required changes that enabled me to use AlphaCom as an Active X plug in. This telnet client is well worth its minimal price. I highly recommend anyone looking for a serious telnet client to download AlphaCom and give it a try. LF

I have to disagree with martinus. The user interface is easily navigated and very well organized; it is far from "weired" [sp]. I have been using SCO Unix for over 10 years now and this is by far the best telnet client I have seen. The SCOANSI emulation appears to be flawless. Having multiple sessions and switching between them is just as easy as sitting at the server. Combine this with the ability to program the function keys to my desired settings and you have one fine product. This product comes with my highest recommendations.
