Nice. I'm looking for an application like this one, but I need to manually adjust MPEG compression.

Seems to have every facility to convert to DivX. I recently bought a portable mutimedia reocrder and need to get DVDs onto hard disk without too many pieces of software needed.

The setup was amazingly simple. Install the program pick a directory and you can start encoding from there. The first time I tried to rip a dvd it said it was locked, but told me to try and run the dvd one time and then try ripping it again. Worked fine after that. I've tried Nero, Dr. Divx, and several others and I like AoA the best.
