Publisher's Description
AppRocket is a breakthrough in file management with its totally inconspicuous interface that is always a hotkey away from any place in Windows. It saves you from having to look for files or use your mouse. It uses a very intelligent and powerful search method to quickly find files, and all you have to do is type in a small abbreviated name of the file you are looking for. It supports music file information (ID3 Tags), so you can use it to automatically organize and search your entire music collection - it integrates well with WinAMP and other popular media players.

Been using it for months now and it rocks .Great product. There is no other product that even comes close to it. The best next is 'type and find robot' and 'type and run'. This product has 1 VERY major issue... vendor support is the WORST. Tens of emails with not a single reply. They did on one occasion and never again. Therefore, I DO NOT recommend investing a single penny. With such poor support, I can only afford to use when it becomes free.

A great idea, and great looks. Those are the good things. It's pretty hungry for resources. People without ninja computers should try KbStart. Nevertheless, it has potential. Keep up the good work!

The concept is OK but the resource usage is outrageous.
For it to be of any use you need it to index a fair bit of stuff (otherwise what's the point of having it?).
Memory usage can shoot up into the hundreds of megabytes if you index a relatively standard "my documents" folder consisting of a lot of documents and image files.
Nice idea but at this stage in its development it's completely useless. Unless it can be made to use 90-95% less resources (hardly likely) this project should be scrapped now.
