Great software! Asutype's "pack and unpack” data feature is awesome if you have travel around for work, but you need to get the Pro Version through.
PLUS- You can use Asutype for the rest of your life if you are happy with the version you got during the first 12 months free update. You also still get their technical support, they never let you down.

Still $50 every 12 months, and the new license policy has created a revolt among registered As-U-Type users. There's a reason Fanix doesn't have a forum — they're even trying to sell a cheesy spellchecker for $30! There are numerous alternatives that do far more, among them is AutoHotkey.

Works pretty fair, but the author MUST BE KIDDING about the $50 price tag. TinySpell has most of the functionality, and is FREEWARE!

Beware! The so called support doesn´t exist. If you have a problem you get no answer ... sad but true ...

Nice product, but $49.95 is insane !

And, the developer's web site states:

"It might go up when some major new releases come, but still at $49.95 for now"

Huh ? Next month it might cost $100 ?

Sheesh !

Fanix Software made a horrible decision to take this from a $30 Lifetime license to a $50 twelve-month license, effectively forcing users to choose ActiveWords instead. One-trick utilities SHOULD NEVER cost more than $20-30. If you believe otherwise, I have an old truck that you can buy for $39,000 if you like. I admit, I love and have come to rely on As-U-Type, but I can no longer recommend it to others as long as this new licensing policy remains in effect. Whoever told shareware developers to double their prices over the past fifteen months is doing a disservice to registered users everywhere. When one can buy any office suite for @$100 that has AutoFill and AutoCorrect built in, why should one pay $50 for this?

*Noted: the above screenshot won't help As-U-Type's cause.
