Publisher's Description
Ashampoo Backup Pro 27 is a comprehensive data backup solution for Windows. It automatically creates backups of files, drives, or entire systems, providing reliable protection against data loss caused by hardware failure, user error, or malware. Backups can be stored locally, on external drives, in network folders, or in the cloud. All backup operations run efficiently in the background, allowing the system to remain fully usable during the process. The new version introduces a completely redesigned user interface with a clear structure and simplified access to all key functions. Backup plans can now be created and managed in just a few easy steps. A new dashboard consolidates essential information, displaying the status of all backup plans as well as the SMART status of connected drives. The rescue system has been technically redesigned and now also allows the recovery of individual files from image backups. Improved driver management enhances hardware compatibility across a wide range of systems. The new Backup Explorer provides direct access to backup contents without requiring a full restoration process. Additional new features include the Check & Repair function for verifying and repairing drives, expanded BitLocker support with Smartcard and TPM unlock options, and significantly improved performance. Cloud backups are now up to 30% faster, making Ashampoo Backup Pro 27 a robust, efficient, and modern backup solution for long-term data protection.

I have used version 10 for about a year and I found it to be rock solid. I used it to make automatic backups to an external drive and to OneDrive. I have tested the restore function frequently and never had a problem.
I just upgraded to version 11 and my first impression is that it has become even more user friendly and functionality has improved as well. I'm sticking with it.
