After trialing a number of applications for monitor calibration I located Lutcurve and downloaded the full trial. After the clean and quick install and launching the program, the first thing that impressed me was the total black screen - an feature for accurate calibration. Each of the stages are described with text prompts on the tabbed pages which users can navigate back to for any finer tuning if required.
On the first run, the improvement in display was apparent which prompted a re-run this time to accurately fine tune at each step of the way. The real time graphics displaying the effect of each adjustment is both reassuring and a useful guide to ones' progress. Now, having completed each stage with more precision, my display was not only significantly better than ever, it was brilliant. On to the second monitor and again following the set-steps, a bright clean display results and to see that both displays match assured me that the program and adjustments made using it are spot on. I would recommend anyone wanting accurate monitor calibration for image manipulation and display to use Lutcurve.
