Biz Mail is an e-mail client with the focus on you who have e-mail as a part of your daily work. Receive mail from POP3, IMAP or Hotmail accounts. Full support for formatted (HTML) mails. You can view, send receive and reply on formatted mails. It uses standard EML files for storing mails. Spam checks trough blacklist servers and smart filters. Rules that let you automate mail processing. Built-in address book. Mail can be previewed on the server, before you select which to download, keep on the server or delete. Import mails and contacts from other programs.

When it first was released I tried it out and liked some of the features. Address book with pictures, viewing automatically previous messages when clicking on a message received.
It showed a lot of promise.

Unfortunately it was the first release, so prone to bugs (which were reported).

I can't recommend this client to anyone, because since december 2003 nothing has been updated or changed. Their forum is practically dead.

It appears Axolot simply abandonned this project.
Pity, I would have loved to see new versions. :-/
