Publisher's Description
Brainstorm mp3 Catalog is dedicated to people which have a large collection of mp3 files. It is a catalog which stores information about the mp3's like artist, title, album, year and many more (usually found in the ID3 tags). It has another option named Media which helps you find if the mp3 is on the harddisk or a removable media (and what label the removable media has). Fast recursive search or add single files - you name it and this program does it. You can rate your mp3's and can select the rating you want from the category tree.

Agreed with previous poster. Also, some hashing may be useful. For example, i have large (houndreds of gigabytes) music (mp3,ogg vorbis,FLAC,ape etc) collection on my music fileserver (don't ask me, where i took all this music ;) ), and suddenly one of HDDs crashes...Then, if my musDB (holded in external safe place) have hash of all lost files, i can search for them (where and wich way - it's another big question) and recover. Well, something like this.

I give one point because I cannot give a zero. Why? Well, mp3 is a patented format (the patent belongs to Fraunhofer Institut, Germany) and the program supports only this patented file format (some may ask: what about LAME? Well, from formal point of view it is NOT an mp3 decoder, even the name comes from "Lame Ain't An Mp3 Encoder"). No open source/freeware alternatives like OGG Vorbis, FLAC, APE, etc, however, Brainstorm is an Open Source program. Shame on the creator of the software!

Please submit all the bugs & errors at this location:
http://sourceforge.net/t...=131656&func=browse
Specify more informations about the errors like at what point of execution it happens (program start, runing a function), how the error manifest (program crash, error message), what error message do you get, operating system...
Thank You,
