Publisher's Description
BuzzOff is a non-intrusive plugin for Internet Explorer that effortlessly blocks unwanted popups and provides a versatile web searching interface. It works as a plugin for Internet Explorer, so popups are killed before they pop and searching any website (search engines, reference sites, ecommerce sites, etc.) can be done right from the toolbar or the system tray if no browser is open. No special effort is needed to block unwanted popups while letting valid ones through -- it just works.

The newest version, allows you to use the "open in a new window" command without any problems.

vapor: Other than the occasional nag screen, the program isn't crippled. The freeware thing is indeed my fault and I apologize; I have an email in to the BetaNews guys to change it. (There's no way for me to do it.) I certainly am not trying to deceive anyone, but rather cover the cost of the website hosting, tools, etc.
Again, I apologize for the mix-up and appreciate your feedback.

Went to the website of this product and saw a 'Purchase' link.....purchase freeware? It seems the author is stating this product is crippled shareware and would like a $10 donation for the full-featured product. The author also states if you send Feedback on the program, then it shall be Free and if you Translate this program to another language for the author it shall be Free. No indication that this program will cripple itself in the near future without the Feedback or Translation response to the author.

I agree with "Antiriad", I found when I click a link that opens a new window (Using HTML target="_blank" or similar) it gets stopped as a popup. It takes away from the program somewhat.

Very nice (small and clean), but i can't open any link on a blocked site that opens in a new window. cool that it blocks popup's, but if i explicitly click a popup link, or right-click anything and choose 'open link in new window', then it shouldn't be blocked.

This product seems really nice (saw it on a different computer), but to my horror it needs the .NET framework. I'm sure we'll all have that on our computers one day, but I am honestly not going to install a, what?, 30 MB download to install another program. Sorry.
