Craigslist Search (CLSearch) is a utility that allows you to search all US cities in Craigslist for items in the sale/wanted listings as well as jobs and gigs sections. The Craigslist main page only allows you to search for an item for sale in your local city or any other city of choice, there are times, however, when it may be necessary to search as many locations as possible in order to locate an item. This is when this comes in handy. Using one simple, easy to use interface a search of over 120 cities can be made and the results are neatly tabulated.

I'd rate between 4 and 5, but i guess I'd like more search-preset/history type features to become addicted.
Btw, is betanews info above maintained by author? As of now 16-Nov-2007, it shows 2.1 while recent version is 2.4 (though file Properties reads "2.3.2857.28471").
Suggestion/requests:
I hope author eventually adds refinements such as searchphrase history, subcity and neighborhood (sub)list to each city, (sub)category list (universal overlay/parallel to cities list, or perhaps subcat groups assignable to groups of cities)
A cities.txt "hot" swapper. (Fortunately, we instead can drag various version of cities.txt to app's folder. The app is fast to shut& restart.)
Allow customization of filename/html title of generated html file. i'd ..
Abbreviate the "search results for"
Omit the "in"
Allow "gigs", "jobs", forsale", etc in filename and html ((title))...((/title)) tag
Allow a custom title. it could be one line in the cities.txt, which the app then inserts into the title and filename. Perhaps require that this string be the 1st line of cities.txt.
Minor observations:
Possibly misleading button name: [SearchAllCities] button is not getting more cities. It's just searching the query (at each of the cities in the list).
BTW, get craigs subdomains to edit your cities.txt from:
http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites.html. Note the "more..." link to USA 'cities' by alphabetical sort:
http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us

Excellent program for searching all the USA craigslist domains. However when I edit the cities.txt file to rearrange the city names, I get an error when the search is concluded. Is there something at the end of the file that is being eliminated when its edited?

Its fixed in version 1.5, sorry about the error in 1.4 with no results being saved.

Gave it a 3 since it is a nice simple program but I tried a few searches and it came back with nothing. It didn't work.
