The best sharing program, only could be better the day they drop java and make it native windows soft. No adware, no spyware, clean interface.

if torrents and soulseek were never invented, and i still believed the gnutella network wasnt dead in the water, this would definitely be my filesharing app of choice.

any step away from java is a step in the right direction.

it's ok.. but i find bearshare lite/pro 5.x.x still works great on my computer, and does not have as much junk files as limewire etc...

What's wrong with these ret***s?

0.7.5 -> Wouldn't install on Vista x64.
0.7.6 -> Fixed to install on Vista x64.
0.7.7 -> Yet again won't install on x64.

I don't get it.. someone please help me understand?

EDIT: Nikkie its all there in plain old beautiful English.

No nags with those damn moving buttons like two other programs have, even if they are supposed to be freeware. Cabos is clean, efficient and just plain awesome. If only I could give it a ten!

Not bad. I like the minimalist approach, and the adequate set of options.

My only wish, for now, is that the filter could be set to "Music" (or whatever you choose) by default. Rates a solid 4.5.

Cool application, but there are only 4 networks, so not very useful. This is after forwarding ports in router and opening firewall, I confirmed port is open so nothing blocking it and I can download fine.

Would be nice if you could minimize to system tray without having to use third party applications.

Excellent! Best file sharing program. Very stable and fast!

Changes for v7.5:
Auto-rename downloads when the same filename already exists.
Better spam filtering.
Fixed filename encoding. (Windows)
_________
Very resource efficient as far as java applications go, and download speeds are decent enough. I'd never use Limewire for a list of reasons; use Frostwire and save yourself trouble, otherwise, this is more efficient than either of them.

Also, it would be hard for Cabos to ever cave in because it's just the application, and Gnutella is not held on a simple chain of webservers; it would take a Holy Grail to take down the Gnutella network, which brings me to another point: the Cabos author didn't create the network, he merely created a client that accesses it, meaning he couldn't be held liable because he doesn't promote piracy either.

Giving this one a ten! Simple interface. No frills. No damn annoying startup windows asking if I want the "pro" version.
