Publisher's Description

Calendar 2000 will display a monthly calendar on the Windows desktop. The calendar is similar to the one found in most checkbooks. You can also define your own holidays and important dates, but it is not a full-blown time scheduler. Instead use it to quickly check the date or calculate the day on which a certain date occurs. Monthly calendars from January 1583 to December 3000 can be displayed using this handy desktop utility. Can easily be configured to be run directly from the Taskbar icon tray.

It seems like a nice calendar, but the interface is a huge drawback. I prefer Rainlendar, which is also free and a really smart desktop app.

Calendar 2000 4.3 is a very nice calendar for a desktop. The app is very stable, lightweight (only 500 K when minimized to the taskbar tray) and simple to use. It has everything a small calendar should have and it even has some bells and whistles: world clock for 4 places and graphical Sun/Moon clock. The only drawback is outdated and not very pleasant user interface.
