Publisher's Description
Chameleon Clock is a desktop clock which purpose is to be useful, user-friendly, and beautiful. It is where the power of both features and interface is combined with simplicity. Check how it makes a standard Windows tray clock a tiny piece of art by using Winamp skins and bitmap digits. Several skins are included in the distribution as examples; and you can download more from our collection or from numerous other places on the Internet.

If it wasn't so buggy and so unstable, it'd be a perfect 5.
But, although I love this kind of applications, and some of the features in 3.7 are appealing and interesting, I can rate it 4 at best.
On my system it only works as a systray clock and not as a floating clock as well, like version 2.x did...
Moreover, it cannot play MP3 files for its alarms...
What a pity!
When will all the bugs be fixed?
is the development over?

Not what I was waiting for:
1. No week numbers in the system tray
2. Takes too much place in the system tray
3. Does not devide itself over more lines when a double height taskbar in WinXP is used
4. Too many unnecessary features like skins, alarms, organiser, to do, all of them taking up resources
All I want is a Windows XP tray-clock with the week-number in both the tray and the calendar.

It took them a few years, but with the addition of autohide smoothing and birthday reminders, Chameleon Clock is now the definitive desktop clock. The changelog for version 3.0 isn't exactly impressive, but to be fair, it's hard to improve on perfection.

I loved Chamelon Clock two years ago. Alas times change and Chamelon Clock stays (virtually) the same. Maybe the author should look at Ace Clock Pro for some fresh ideas :)

Tclock has a few more features but hasn't been updated in 3 years. This new versin of Chameleon Clock (3) looks just like the last one (2). Very disappointing after waiting so long. They gave no reasons why I should upgrade. The best part of Chameleon Clock is setting it up to so the calender when double-clicked on. This is a huge time saver at work. Other then that, this new version is boring. Same old stuff.
