Tridus: it seems you didn't even try this new version! You say it only supports VfW, but starting from 2.7b1 it only supports DirectShow instead of VfW. So, don't comment on stuff you don't try :-) ConquerCam is a great app, getting better with every release.

Only supports VFW, so it doesn't support DV camera. Onto the pile with the 50 other similar programs it goes.

After reviewing the last beta. The problems I've had have now been fixed and is once again a very stable and well developed program. I've been using it all day without any problems.
A very nice webcam capture program.

Have been using 2.08 in the past week since I got my webcam and it has been working fine.
To day I tested this beta and although the new features are nice, someware along the lines the 'Publish Offline Image' had developed a fault and now causes an Access violation. After that any pictures won't upload. I'm using a Logitech Quickcam Express, under Windows XP.

excellent program been using it for years now. just a note on the shareware title it has, it IS shreware however it has no nags or limited features etc. it is fully functional, the author states that he hates nags to buy it and he knows people will just crack it if he adds serial numbers etc into it, so he just accepts donations which you are ment to pay if you use it more than 30 days. Of course you dont have to pay but you are ment to, it is a "if you like this software then please pay for it" kind of thing. I liked this attitude from the author and so donated £10 for the program for the past 2 years i have used it. Great software, very stable and very easy to use

Works great! Loaded with nice features. It's much much better than the software that came with my 3Com Homeconnect. A lot of people like Webcam32, but I've had nothing but problems with it for some reason. I plan to use ConquerCam for a while, nice job!
