ConsoXL groups the sheets and calculates the total. It can create the links between the sheets and group them all into one workbook while keeping formulas. It just needs the list of files. Selection sheet by sheet and cell by cell are not needed anymore. On each consolidated sheet you will see both the total and all the details.
