Caution, you guys. This is reported to be a rogue program by another wide-used antispyware app.

Not sure if the search process is 'state of the art' as I had trouble from the start. Program installed okay. Then I tried to update it and it gave an error "couldn't add image to list"...

Then when I hit scan... it gave an error about initializing scan tables...

I then uninstalled. Installed version 1.3. Ran that ok. Then reinstalled this version on top of 1.3. Got the same 'image' error when starting. This time it didn't give me an error when starting scan.

The scan actually found what it identified as a trojan.... 'wsysMANIFEST'. But the progress bar didn't seem to work. The Fix process seemed to take care of the trojan. Still not impressed.

Here is what a-Squared had to say about the software:
Copperhead AntiSpyware is a rogue security program that shows Poor scan reports and false Detection. Falsely reports updating ref database. It doesn’t provide any protection against spywares or any type of adwares. Moreover falsely reports updating ref database.

Characteristics:

* It shows Poor scan reports and false Detection.
* Falsely reports updating ref database.
* False positives work as goad to purchase.

I am giving it a 2, but if what a-Squared had to say is true... then a 2 is about 3 points too high.
