Publisher's Description

Credit Card Verifier allows you instantly check all major credit cards number for validity without submitting the card number online. It can validate any VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, EnRoute, American Express (AMEX), Discover, or JCB credit card number. It uses LUHN10 (MOD-10) algorithm, so it only validates the integrity of the number combination, not the credit card itself.

Credit Card Verifier detects and displays credit card type early depending on the first digits of the card number. It only verifies whether or not a credit card checksum is valid; it does not validate the credit card account. In order to verify a credit card account, you will need software that can access credit card networks, and typically submit authorization request on the card account. If you need to charge credit cards and validate credit card accounts, please look into a merchant provider.

I recently had to create a credit card verification system for a corporate client and know the effort it takes with fine tuning the coding.

That said however, perhaps if you get rid of the "pretty pictures" and leave in just the small logo pics, you can get your filesize down.

As an indication, even with full logos in my app, it was no more than 60kb and handled two extra card types (Australian Bankcard and Carte Blanche).

Keep up the work though...
