The installer won't work in windows 8.1 at all. It doesn't matter what you do It just doesn't install.

Installer won't work in Windows 7 (x64) (even with Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode enabled).

Just what I needed. I tend to review things and this is wonderful! Especially software, It's a wonderful program, runs well, and a good GUI. Kudos to the developers for making it Open Source.
@Victor - Have you ever looked at MediaPortal, you can database in that, and its again, Open Source.

Can one catalog (in some sort of database) the content of the burned CDs and DVDs containing mostly mp3 albums etc?

I hardly EVER give anything out here a 5.
This one however deserves a 5. The developer has done an excellent job on the UI and all the app's features....now if we jast had a media center edition version of the same thing...hahaha

First tests seem to be very promising. Everything is there. Adding some books using Amazon worked out very well.
The UI looks a little unorganized and some buttons are irritating as for instance adding a book I could not found the automatic search (Amazon) while with using "Wizard" it was available.
To sum up: I like it and will use it :D
