Desktop Pulse is a utility which can automatically download .jpg and .gif images and put them onto your desktop as wallpaper. You can setup as many pictures as you want. Choose the frequency of update, change the sequnce of the pictures. You can constanly monitor stock exhange graphs, monitor any pictures (like webcams) or simply put nice wallpapers onto your desktop every minute.

I installed this program and since then I cannot set ANY desktop wallpapers other than what's in the program. To make matters worse, there's not a feature for local images so if you have the files locally you can't just type in C:\blahblahblah.jpg. I tried uninstalling this program, and it STILL does not let me put any desktop images on there.
