Publisher's Description
Diet Kaza removes banners, popup ads, spyware, and more from KaZaa before they are even downloaded. It can also filter your proxy to remove any spyware communications. It makes searches quicker with more results. Removes all ads from the interface of the program, including the BonziBuddy/shopping icons. Adds quick search buttons to the system tray. It also removes the "bitrate" limit on MP3 downloads.

pfft .. edonkey is horrible and made for leechers . wait a month to get yourself to go up levels etc.
who wants to wait to go up levels .
cabos , piolet (1.83) , soulseek , bitcomet and kceasy is the way to go ...
also , this is horrible for the rest of us who doesnt want those pop and skipping sounds in our mp3's . kazaa has too many bad mp3's .

great spyware removed build of kazaa. Except that most files are now on edonkey (emule)!

This is good, but kazaa is extinct! The gnutella networks (limewire) are the way to go..

What do you mean stopped, check my bookmarks geocities.com/versatilespot (search for kazaa) there are like hundreds of mirrors to the new K-Lite 2.60, and don't forget the Kazaa Lite Resurrection the follow up of K-Lite ++. But hey anything that stops spyware is great therefore five stars.

I used DietK with earlier version of KaZaaLite, my question now is does this version work of DietK work with KaZaa Lite K++ ??.
Does not KaZaa Lite K++ already have all the features from DietK ???

Maybe I'm missing something here but why would anyone want to use this program when Kazaa Lite takes care of ads, spyware, adware, etc. I've been using Kazaa Lite and don't have any of the aforementioned problems. Until someone convinces me why I should use this I'll continue using Kazaa Lite with no additional software.

If you want to get MAX of your Kazaa you can combo Kazaa Lite with Diet Kazaa. PERFECT results!

seier, you should READ what it says on dietk.com's site. It's says that the linkname is wrong, but the PROGRAM IS 2.5 FINAL. It IS a good program!

I guess Chip Warner is smoking the big bong, because both the betanews link to v2.50 and the one on Download.com are still for 2.0 RC1. Not only that as far as I can tell he skipped 2.0 gold and went right for v2.5 gold. All of this strikes me as rather lame at the moment.

At the end of the installation after it asked me if i wanted to over-right a windows dll file, I selected no. Right after that my computer reset.
A little bug testing maybe?

ok like all u mo fros out there this is just kazaa but hacked up (all they have done is decrypted the exe and hacked it up using a res hacker for the interface and a decompiler to remove the spyware) so like its no great feet the author is no great programer this is the same for kazaa lite i do agree that this is cool i hate spyware and banners but i think there is a legal point here (wasent kazaa lite having some legal problems with kazaa inc lol.

Kazza is nice if you don't mind leechers and viruses... I found this program called FileShare(search for it).. much nicer... easy to use... the future of p2p. a great hometown community... try it and see what you think

This program works even better than the 1.2b. It keeps KaZaA downloading at the fastest possible steed. The search resaults are wonderful! This program even lets you run KaZaA without any of the spyware (Cydoor) installed!

Not a bad program, but cydoor (kazaa spyware) is still doing it's thing even when this program is running. Kazaa lite gets rid of all spyware, which is why I will give this program a 3 and kazaalite a 5. Make those improvements and then maybe I'll think about switching.

Ever since I tried StyleXP and it toasted my desktop by turning all text, background colors, windows, etc. BLACK, even though everything was still 'there', and taking about an hour to get my profile back, I'll never ever use this again.
I DO like WindowBlinds. The new version is pretty cool, and that UGLY a$$ green jelly button for a Start button is GONE !!

The legal alternative til KazaaLite. PLUS it removes the popups that Kazaa generates, plus it has the Download Accelerator..Quite simply the best addon for KAzaa..and it's FREE..gotta loe that!

ok ppl, here's a FREE program that keeps annoying ads/banners away as well as makes your search results unlimited in that kazaa thing. it's small, simple to use and has a slick little interface. what else could you ask for? donate to this man he's the king!
