DirectUpdate is a dynamic DNS updater that runs as a NT service with remote (web) administration. It integrates with many of the free or pay DNS services and you can automaytically update multiple DNS accounts as soon as your IP changes. In addition, it can perform local actions upon IP change, including FTP upload, application launching, and email notification.

DirectUpdate is much easier to use, more powerful, and more functional than DynDNS Updater. But...Oh goshy darn, it's NOT FREE! So of course, it will never be rated as well.

Directupdate is very useful when your ISP change sometime your IP address.
It look very professional, with good log feature.
It can use several different server. For security, I use both dyndns.org and sitelutions.com (both are free and reliable)
