Directory Report is a gem of a find. It was recommended by a friend (thanks, Shahid)
It is truly an outstanding App to find duplicate files, very Powerful and feature rich.
It' really is a Swiss knife of file-utilities
This is undoubtedly one of the most powerful file utilities for windows period .(trust me I have tried many of them). Directory Report was the only Application to scan over 500,000 files in less than an hour without crashing.
As a novice user I wanted help and the author of the App replied to my many support request emails within hours and answered my countless queries. Given the low cost ($25) I was surprised by the awesome support I received. I would have happily paid US$100+ for support alone.
The App is small, intelligent, stable and well written.
If you're looking for a powerful software that is highly reliable, super fast and has lots of options & features then I would highly recommend Directory Report.
YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER TOOL.

I use Directory Report all the time to compare different versions of my company's software. It quickly shows me which files are different or which files are in one version and not the other.
I also like the many filters so that I only compare the files I want

I used Directory Report to help me clean up my hard drive
It quickly help me find a file for Adobe Writer - over 1 gig
Apparently this file was pre-installed when I got my new machine from Dell
Directory Report is easy to use since it looks just like the MS-Explorer
But it always shows the folder size
So drilling down to problem directories is simple

The UNLIMITED license is a FRAUD !!! Buyer beware !!!
I purchased this program. When I re did my op sys; it had to check in with AMB
to re-install. They are so inept that they did not even recognize that I was trying to re-install it on the same computer. They made me feel like they were doing me a favor letting me re-install the program. I OWN IT. The next time when my sys crashed; I sent in trouble tickets and emails for 2 weeks. They just ignored me. I found several others on google with the same problem. And guess what...
the 800 # for USA for re-install problems has been dis connected.
So I now have a useless disk, and they figure I am in the USA and they are in the UK so ignore me...they probabley have blocked my email by now.
BUYER BEWARE...FRAUD...FIND ANOTHER PROGRAM
