Nice and easy to use, but there is no option to verify the cd?
Anyway, it's still much better than having to install Nero.

Nice app, and very useful. A few problems though. The icon doesn't stay on top, and that can be a real hassle. The main app does not hide, and takes up room on the task bar. Just the drop icon is enough. It configures my LiteOn 52x32x52 and 52x rated disks to burn at 48x.

Very easy to use from install thru to the simplest drag and drop to a small place holder. It becomes better with new version.

"Why this tool?" :)
Maybe you should try it first. I agree with rwabel. "why the held you need a program with about 50mb to burn cds?" :)
To rwabel: you right. i burned files (~100 char) and it worked. P.S. Nice interface :)

nero?? no way. that crap comes no more on my computer. winoncd is great, except the newest version. got huger and less userfriendly. why the held you need a program with about 50mb to burn cds? droptocd is simple, effective a fast. try to burn files with filelength over 64 characters. I never managed that neither with winoncd nor with adaptec.
if you give a rating you should also consider the quality of a program no just because you have to pay. and hell stop that s*** that every cdrw manufacutre includes a cdr tool. I prefer to not have a soft included but a cheaper price

I mean it to. WHY THIS TOOL? And 15$. The CDR-TOOLS for example are complete free. And for this one exist more as one GUI. And the CDR-TOOLS are better as this program.

Very cool program! Congratulations to the author for getting it right. Ideal for Explorer users like myself. This program will take care of all of your daily needs for data file copying, which is more common than ISO and music CD conversion and copying. DropToCD is to data files what FireBurner is to ISO's. I appreciate the compact size and lack of Windows folder bloat. It appears to be a "1 file wonder" (single executable), so I wish there were a zip file option with no install needed. Perhaps an ISO burning feature could be added with little bloat, which would greatly add to it's utility. (bobad@charter.net)
