DupeChecker is a disk cleaning and file utility. You can easily find and remove all duplicate files and folders. Maybe you don't know, but on every computer there are a lot of identical files. Sometimes they appear when you downloading from the Internet using automatic download managers or file-sharing soft. Day by day they trashing your disk space and the result - disk is full. This will find duplicate files for the same file name or size, for the same file content (byte for byte).

I don't find DupeChecker as good as NoClone, but I've been using zsDuplicateHunter lately and it's unbelievably fast. Get the Pro version, and comes with a Lifetime license.

Dude, double killer is the SHIZNIT! I want to thank you for that little gem and of course, recomend it as well. I fail to understand why the majority of free programs always seem to f'n rock their commercial counterparts... I love it. double-killer. GET IT. Lightweight, NO retarded installers. and FREEEEE!

All that you need to know about this software is the text on the button: "Add Flopies". For some reason there is "Compare byte-for-byte files" feature. Makes me wonder if the author has ever heard of MD5? Also, in homepage it lists features such as:
* Shows sizes in bytes, KB, MB or GB. {wow! cool! }
* Full support for FAT, FAT-32 and NTFS format partitions. {what has that got to do with comparing files. And what about CD/DVD (resp ISO9660/Joliet/UDF) }
..and more. If this were a freeware by a fledgling programmer, I'd say "Well done, keep improving it.". But trying to sell such crapware??!

Not as nice interface, but way more accurate, faster and, not to mention, free.

NoClone is a badest thing that I saw!
DupeCheckerPro have more comfortable interface, simpler for work, more flexible and usefull. It is my choice. Every bugs that I found in earlyest versions was immediately fixed by Atory's tech support.

Dupe is duping FF: They're charging $39.95, not $29.95 for it. NoClone is far better and gives an active preview of any file.

I test this program a find it very usefull fo me.
all dupes and empty files was found within a seconds in my data files. very good result and very good speed!
PS: I test this program with my antiviruses and spy checkers and with local firewall and found no any spyware or viruses. and if you see while setup, VB files was installed, and becouse this distributive is so big.

JPEGDuper would be a better alternative to this application. Can also check images based on how alike they are. Also 75% cheaper to register.

so... I downloaded and tested it.
it replaces a few DLL's from system dir by it's own versions... it's f**** slow.
I recommend 'Duplicate File Finder' from http://www.searchandreplace.com/ enjoy!
