Several protective settings are available to add extra safety for novice users: Windows directories exclusion, last file per group protection and full file backup. It allows selection of drives, folders or even single files to be compared or excluded through a comfortable file tree with the ability to find duplicates in external drives and over the network.

Great software with great and kind support!
I like it simple with no fuzz - and DupeRazor delivers just that, it is very easy to handle and has no pesky learning curve to it. If you, like me, download tons of pictures and stuff like that from the Internet or make frequent use of digital cameras and transfer your pics to the PC, things can get overwhelming and messy, fast. Now I only need to select some of my folders and hit a button and I know exactly if I have duplicates. Some buttons more and those duplicates are gone for good. This saves me much disk space on a regular basis.
