It’s very overpriced, there are freeware programs just as good but not as well laid out. A nice program but expensive for what it does. I would give it 4 stars if it were more reasonably priced, I don't mind buying good software but I don't like being robbed.

mike59 I notice you are from Andorra? Are all the people there as stupid & cretin like as you are? Or is it just you that’s thick as a bag of hammers? No doubt your version of Everest is registered with a keygen.

I tried Aida 32 for sheets and giggles :D
Doesn't detect new hardware. So it is useless unless you have a Pentium 4.

I use, and still have a copy of AIDA 3.93. I even used Everest when they bought it. Until they made it Ripoffware. Sites like Softpedia still have AIDA 32 for download. Find it. Download it. Use it.

Has the price on this program really jumped to $49.95 USD? If so, that makes it even less of a value, especially when you factor in the free alternatives that are out there.

I, too, used this program when it was freeware and known as AIDA32. I've got
no problem with somebody wanting to be paid for their efforts. But $30 is kind
of high when there's so many freeware programs extant which perform the same
function.

I remember when this program was called AIDA32 and was freeware. As with most good things some greedy company got their claws on it and ruined it. Charging 30 bucks for a program like this is a joke. There are plenty of great free programs out there that do the same thing.

I recently discovered the FREE PC Wizard, that does as good as this bloated piece of software. It used to be a good program but wanting you to stump up beer tokens after version changes just doesn't do.

Some of the information is intresting to look at, but i find pcwizard 2009 much more better than this, and the other is - it's free, but i can see that EVEREST the pearson who make this software , need cash to put food on the table or buy more bits for his super charge pc - or what ever else,
but i don't like it, many other will ,

Everest is a great program. I've been using it for awhile and have nothing negative to say about the product. I've never had a problem.

5.0.1650 was the first official release for the 5.0 versions. It's been out for awhile. It haven't run into any issues with it. 5.0.1650 is the most recent OFFICIAL release. All the subsequent versions are BETA releases. I'm currently running 5.0.1692 BETA.
