You're kidding me. Please point me to a program meant for PROFESSIONAL subtitling that's cheaper than this. And no, Subtitle Studio is not a professional subtitling program. Professionals work with PAC and 890 and the like.
If there are any cheap programs that support these formats, don't hesitate to link a few :)

The price is a joke, right? Why can't I do the same things with much, much less expen$ive software! I know this is geared toward professionals, but gimme a break! Why not make something for us, well, professionals on a budget? {Check out www.videohelp.com or any number of other sites for alternatives if you really want to do subtitles.}
