Hi Gang,
I'm curious how does UHA compare with .7Z, because if it ain't better why bother? Every sign I can see indicates that 7-Zip is on its way to becoming the new standard in file compression. Does UHA have a chance, sure, but only if the compression is stronger, the algorithm is open-source, and the license to use that algorithm is public domain.
Thanks,
Christian

Finally an update!! A lot of features have added. The most complete GUI for the Uharc with all its options and more and more like customizable SFX. You have to try it!!!!!!

WinUHA blows this away. No options anywhere (except when creating an archive). Bad programming, windows can be resized but the controls done change (create archive screen). Interface is too basic, this is like UHA for really huge dummies.

After installation, I was presented with a dialogbox . It had something to do with an activex control. I had to "X" out of it to get it to go away. Upon loading of the application I attempted to archive a simple jpg file. The software locked up.
Good try guys, but try again.
