This is an amazing piece of software. It indexes all files on your system and monitors any changes in the filesystem on the background. This enables you to locate files instantly. Just press configured hot-key, and type in a part of the filename you are looking for. Use this in combination with an indexer like Copernic desktop search (which doesn't index all files), and you are able to find most of the files on your system in a few seconds. I have the feeling almost no-one has discovered this great software, and that is sad, because that probably has resulted in a lack of updates since 2002. But still, version 1.2 is still OK, it is very well structured, wll though of, highly configurable, very fast and easy to use. The main disadvantage of this version for me is that it wants to rescan the entire system (which doesn't take that long luckily) each time my external hard drive is connected or disconnected.
