Publisher's Description

FlyakiteOSX is a transformation pack that will transform the look of an ordinary Windows XP+ system to resemble the look of Mac OS X. The installer simply automates the process of replacing critical system files, setting registry tweaks, and installing extras such as cursors, sounds, visual styles, etc. All files needed for FlyakiteOSX are stored in the Windows directory in a folder named 'FlyakiteOSX' that is hidden by default. All registry values for FlyakiteOSX are written to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FlyakiteOSX.

Interesting, but in the end I'd rather use something like Xpero. Now that Vista is being released I think less interest will be around; I like Vista a lot. (plus people can buy a Mac and dual-boot)

It's still taken a lot of work and is an interesting update, I just don't like having to rethink where I click.

The links here are now updated to the official software instead of the outdated version 3.0 that was hosted by someone else.

DO NOT USE THIS VERSION!!
Here's the real deal straight from the source:

" http://osx.portraitofakite.com is the official site. The story behind www.flyakiteosx.com is long. The gist of it is someone bought the domain, used it to mirror the software, then setup an actual site with no disclaimer saying it wasn't the official site. After complaining to him, he eventually put that disclaimer at the bottom, but he basically just uses the site to make money from ads.

Basically, just don't bother with www.flyakiteosx.com.

So this is the same software but he hasn't even bothered to update the download to version 3.5.

Also, if you haven't tried the MCE2005 theme called XPize go here: http://xpero.msfn.org/?page=home (also screenshots). It's stable, easily installed and uninstalled and looks pretty good.

Before installing Flyakiteosx
I recommend setting a RESTORE POINT.

The newest version is 3.5. What is Betanews doing posting 3.0? Weird.

Well, this gets a 5 star rating simply for being the best system transformation pack in existence.

The program is good, but why in the world are we seeing this on betanews now? The last release has been dated back to February! (see http://www.portraitofakite.com).
Edit: The Current version that has been released is version 3.5.
