There has been a misunderstanding about freeref containing adult content.
If you analyse c:\windows\freeref\strings with strings(utility for cygwin), you may find the words "YOU MUST BE OVER 18 TO VIEW THIS SITE!".
If you look closely at the freeref screenshot, you can clearly see that there is an online dating site advertised down the bottom.
simply put, most online dating sites dont let ppl under 18 sign up.
thats why the strings are there.
Freeref does not Have/Link to any nudity or gambling sites.
Also, freeref contains no spy/ad/bomb ware, and never will.
