The RSS reader from "The Registry" is probably the best I've seen for configurability. This has the best name, but it doesn't leave a lot of room to manuver.

Run-tim error '429'
ActiveX component can't creat object

This error shows up under Display tab in Rss Feed Manger, otherwise, great app.

I love the design and interface. Now if it would only stop crashing with an error 429... :(

nice versatile reader and seems a lot of work and thought has gone into.

Rated 3 because of:

1. Small file and footprint
2. No OPML and XML import facility
3. Cannot customize user interface
4. It is free. Whola!

guti, sounds like your just nitpicking over minor details. Most programs now a days use somesort of activeX or dll.
I tried out the RSS Reader you mentioned, not bad but there are much better RSS Readers available on sourceforge.
I use one on a regular basis but for a RSS feeder to let run on the desktop I still find this one to be great.

Information does not seem accurate as it is now version 0.7.0. Seems pretty good to me! Keep on the good work!

It is not as small as it seems, since it requires some external ActiveX components, such as dhtmled.ocx, the Visual Basic 6 runtimes, ...

If one sums all the required files, it is more than 2 Megs... I prefer FeedReader instead!

Certainly the smallest rssReader I've ever used, only 56kb unzipped. It's very simply doesn't have alot of anything but it does work.
The only bug I found was when you open the dialog to add remove feeds there's no button to close that dialog box so you have to right mouse click on the title to do that.

Not bad, but it won't be replacing my current rssReader
