I'm a Firefox user, but I recently began to keep an IE frontend installed, for those times when IE is necessary.

I think this one--- once you get rid of the majority of its buttons--- has a slightly better interface than Maxthon. but it's almost three times the size of Maxthon once installed.

Although that doesn't mean much with today's large drives, it's too much space to justify its use as a secondary browser, which is the role it would have to fill for me.

I wondered, whether you have ever tried GOSURF?! GOSURF provides a clean and very friendly GUI, and a lot of powerful features. e.g. "Save pictures/Flashs/videos from Webpage", "Analyse Webpage links/scripts", "Verify and load proixes", "Smart Ad-Blocker", "Highlight terms", ...

It runs also much faster than Maxthon. Okay, Maxthon has many plugins and features but 95% of them will never be used!! We want a browser not a playstation!!

If you like GOSURF, rate it!
If not, please don't make advertisement for other browsers. (You can write a review somewhere else)

PS: GOSURF is althrough a shareware. You can use it after trial-period as well.

I also tried myie2 and some other browsers, and found only gosurf has enough capability for ads-filter, including flashes. You can just try to open http://news.sina.com.cn with gosurf and other browsers for comparison! Anyway, I also encounter small bugs, but they don't impact the advantage and benefits I got.

I like GoSurf very much , i use GoSurf for 3 months and i couldn't find a browser better than it, i hope GoSurf will free to use forever !!
2 features i love most are :
* let me select which urls (saved last time) to open this time.
* Boss Key (hotkey) - very useful when my boss is coming to my desk :-)

sorry dixon, if you feel like you are offended, pls go ahead and write a proper review for all the comment like _more features_ or _unstable_ like other serious reviewers... and that's what i m gonna do. what makes me uncomfortable (or for sure for other users look into this page) is you are just like a prankster doing all the funny parts but never said a word about the real thing. look at all those one star reviews... at least, those other than you are giving some examples (like system crashes..) but you are more focusing on paying or not paying for the program. i guess you are a professional hacker or oday software user, that's why you are so picky about paying for this little *POS* as you referred, but really nice prog as i and many other users felt.
i m glad u still keep your good habit of visiting this page, though the purpose of your coming back from time to time are really uncertain to me, or maybe too obvious for others to see...
and btw, just confirmed with the author of gosurf, gosurf is free and no limitation when you use it under chinese interface, feel bad? i may teach you chinese so that you can have a totally *free* gosurf. and of course, we wont laugh at you even u can not use chinese well :)

GoSUrf is fantastic! I totally don't agree with that guy below. It can help me block those annoying popups. I have been using it for a month and never come across such problems.

For the top two 1-star raters: have you even tried this program?? I personally rate it above MyIE2 because it's much better looking and more user-friendly, plus it supports standards better (like established shortcuts). But even if you would rate MyIE2 higher, why a 1?! Is IE worth -1 then or something? That doesn't do justice to the quality of this program at all. Just because you like another program better, does not make this program a bad program...

Excellent program. I really enjoy surfing with it. The most brilliant feature is the Multi Proxy setup. Very simple and light weight yet a comprehensive one as compared to most of the bulky massive and slow surfing programs like IE, Opera etc.

And this is not a english tutorial for which the english should be excellent. Be mature and see the technical side of the package which no doubt is best while considered for size and cost.

Why does everyone always think that users on the Internet are kids when their English is not good?! I happen to know the developer is Chinese and most of GoSURF's users are in China as well. I guess quite some people needed this explanation.

I'm Dutch and GoSURF has become my standard browser. I've used & tested NetCaptor, CrazyBrowser, MyIE, Smartbrowser, Opera, Netscape (all versions), Mozilla and Phoenix, but GoSURF wins in most aspects if you're a heavy surfer/user. I can't live without it anymore.

Some key features which make it unbeatable for me (combination not found in alternatives):
- advanced popup & banner blocking features
- reopen popups without having to reopen the page it came from
- reopen closed pages
- magic drag functions (drag a link a bit and it opens in a new page, or drag text/pictures a bit and it saves it)
- clean look (I personally find it the best looking browser around..)

For everyone rating it with 1 star: have you even taken the time to look at it?! I cannot understand why this program would get a 1 star rating...

Nice, but not nearly good enough to warrant paying for it. There's TONS of similar programs by now, and most of them are free (CrazyBrowser, Networker, Abolimba, MyIE2, ...).

It's just IE with a plugin.
IE engine -> IE bugs
Opera uses tabed browsing from a long time and has no bad bugs.

I hate to be so suspicious, but I have to wonder about the validity of some of these reviews...at first I thought this was simply Crazy Browser with a face lift, but after playing with it for awhile (and comparing the files)I found it to be a poor copy. The interface is not as clean and you can't use your own icons to label your favorites. If you want a tabbed front end for IE, check out Crazy Browser, I believe you will find it much more refined then this product.
