A little overly-pretty and bigger than it needs to be, but it gets the job done, and most driver packages seem to be heading that direction anyhow.

as a network admin for a medical company, this driver is a huge benefit since it allows me to easily allow visitors to print on our network without being part of the domain. this tool has worked flawlessly for me for a long time and i will continue to use it.

These drivers have worked well to help me overcome issues I was having with stock HP ones. It also makes it very easy to change printers. I wish there was support for home printers as well, but we all know there's reasons behind that.

"Server Busy"
Typical HP. Their support/download/ftp servers are CONSTANTLY having issues. YEARS now this has been happening.
Oh and I'm stupid? You mean the reliability of the ability to download the driver/software shouldn't be a factor?
I disagree wholeheartedly. Without the software available or the site is down, how can I gain functionality from it? It's an essential function of software or services to have reliable, stable availability.

Good idea, but it would be a lot more useful if I hadn't started abandoning HP years ago. Their printers keep getting worse and worse. I think they've decided to make their money selling repair parts of a new printer when yours breaks in 1-2 years. The last HP I had that wasn't a maintenence nightmare was a 5si (still running great).

Interesting concept, if a bit late to the party.

We found that this shifts the burden from the user, to the admin. Which is fine, but this would have been good about 4-5 years ago. Drivers on the HP platform are pretty standardized and this is redundant...
