Publisher's Description
HelpNDoc is an easy-to-use and intuitive tool to create HTML help files. It provides a clear and efficient interface to build HTML help files without worrying about the inner working of help file generation. You just enter your text in the built-in word processor and hit "Compile" to obtain a fully functional help file which looks exactly as you designed it.

HTML / Word pasting works well. Inbuilt javascript search is also great. Does everything i need it for. I think some poeple may want to import existing help projects from other software - which it does not do - rather than paste each page and configure them.
The "Free for Personal Use" version is still available.

My comments below are still valid unfortunately. The "Free for Personal Use" version is still available. The exporting to Word and PDF are good additions and work well.

I found this to be a very easy program to produce good chm and html documentation. Configure the global parameters, colours, add your pages, add the text and images - link some togther and hit compile.
One thing which i find very annoying is that you can not import or paste html - you have to paste the text and reformat it. You can't even view/edit the html/rtf in the edit window.
Minor note: It outputs sample help linking code in a few languages - all old (VB/C/F) - not VB.NET, C# etc.
The freeware version of this program writes its name on the bottom of every output page - which is ok.
This is the best freeware, all in one, chm creater/compiler i have found.
