HotKeyz is freeware, not shareware. HotKeyz is perhaps the best of the targeted hotkey apps. Good interface design, lots of flexibility included and options available to make sure your keys are accurate and unconflicted. It even does hotstrings and lets you print out a list of your hotkeys for reference. Brilliant!

looks like this is freeware now and its version 2.4.0.0. It is better than Winkey (which I have used since 1999) in that it's not limited to the windows key. and you can flag to minimize, maximize, restore, close, winamp... looks like another nice feature is login capability but i havent tested it yet.. its also easier to add and edit hotkeys and you can enable and disable without deleting.. i dont think winkey has the macro feature either (http://www.skynergy.com/hotkeyz/help/macros.html) looks like hotkeyz is a little more resource intensive though so that may not work for some..

How is it better then freeware Winkey (www.copernic.com/winkey) which is available for many years now?
