victoranderson obviously didn't read the website for the program, or have any inkling for how the program works; however he would rather shoot his mouth off in his state of ignorance.. this program is a good idea.

perhaps the description is a bit misleading.. this program basically runs a small server on your machine and keeps track of what messages are sent to you.. when youre not home, you can just login to your webpage, which connects with the software running at home, and you can view what messages have been sent to you while you were away. nothing is stored on "their" servers.

Edit: Ok shockme17, so it runs a server on your home machine....but again, what's the point? There is no need for such an application to exist. Why not just use the web-based versions of these programs and retreive all your offline messages like that? Seems kinda ridicilious to have another program installed/running when it doesn't provide anything that you couldn't acomplish without it.

I dont see the point in this thing. ICQ receives offline messages, and there are web based versions of both ICQ and AIM. So why not just log off yer messengers, then if you feel you must check your messages while away - just use the web-based ones. No need for this 3rd party gizmo and have your personal messages be stored somewhere else on someone else's server.
