Iobit, a Chinese company, was pretty much caught red-handed using malware definitions from MalwareBytes.
Although they never issued an apology, they did remove the questionable content from their database. The size of their database shrank by 40% and the detection rates fell from 70% to around 20% almost overnight. If you need Malware protection, use the best (Malwarebytes) instead of this garbage.
