Publisher's Description
ImageDupeless is intended for searching of the similar images in the large collections. The supported graphic file formats are JPEG, GIF, BMP, PCX, PNG, TIFF, PGM, WMF, EMF, and EPS. The comparison is based on the contents of images, not depending on their sizes, formats, resolutions, etc. Their are advanced opportunities of cataloging the galleries available on CDs and of further off-line work with them. At that the comparison of new images with those of included into the gallery takes much less time, than complete rescanning the gallery, and is possible even if the CD itself with imaging data is absent. There are internal facilities for comparison, deletion, movement, and update of files, and change of gallery root directory binding.

It's useful when you have many many images! And it works fast over all! Good.

Works well, but is poorly designed. It's virtually impossible to see which images are checked in the duplicate gallery because the colors are pink on red, and its automatic marking algorithm doesn't seem consistent. It marked one duplicate set of files correctly, but failed to do so after refreshing the gallery. Toolbar icons are huge and appear from the 1980s. Interface and help file needs work, but could be a promising — and very much needed — app!

far better than other image applications.
